THERMAL ENERGY STORAGE
CRISTOPIA STL is a Thermal Energy Storage by Phase Change Material (PCM) encapsulation. The STL system is composed of one or several tanks filled with spherical elements (called nodules) containing the PCM. The use of PCM in nodules provides very high energy density and power exchange.
This solution allows to manage important energy cooling needs for air-conditioning and industrial cooling.
Thermal Energy Storage reduces the installed capacity of the chillers by up to 70%, lowers electricity costs and secures the operation of the installation.
